Hothead Games Response
9yThis is Mike Inglehart, Creative Director at Hothead Games and first off thank you so much for taking the time to send in your review. By receiving your feedback, we can only make Hothead Games an even better place to work. We appreciate and value all comments about our company.
* We value the talent pool we have attracted to Hothead Games and it was great to read that you were surrounded by very skilled people in your time at Hothead.
* In addition, it was equally awesome to hear that our library of games is fun to play and we hope this next round of new products will continue our steady climb up the ranks of success within the mobile games market.
* Lastly thank you for making note to our active lifestyle approach at Hothead Games. With some great perks focused on fitness such as our in-house gym facility, weekly circuit training classes, twice a week pick up hockey games and the newly added yoga classes we do everything possible to give our employees a healthy outlook to get their sweat on during their time at the office.
* I am sorry to hear about some of the struggles and challenges that were experienced in your time at Hothead and wanted to comment on your feedback in this area.
* Our HR team is now three people strong at Hothead and they have been working hard adding in new systems such as new hire orientations, quarterly employee reviews and yearly employee training budgets to help build out both a great on-boarding experience and a continued learning curriculum.
* We have also recently added in a new hire intro game to our weekly Lunch and Learns to help introduce our new hires to the rest of the company so people can place a face to a name. HR is also advertised as a place that anyone can visit to ask questions in terms of navigating their way around the company. In our new hire orientation in which I also speak, we strongly encourage people to come talk to anyone in management if they have a question or inquiry that needs attention. I am always of the mind that strength comes from asking for help.
* In regards to your bullying comment I would be more than happy to discuss this further to understand the context of what you are commenting on as we pride ourselves on building a culture where everyone does indeed contribute. This results in our employee body being one big team that needs to push and pull in the same direction to reach our goals.
* I am extending an open invitation to discuss any of your challenges further at your convenience. Every piece of feedback we receive only makes Hothead a better place to work. Thank you again for your comments.
