Pros
You get to work with some wonderful people and the executives are very down to earth. The office culture is quite laid back and work life balance is maintained well. There’s also an onsite gym and free workout classes weekly. Did I mention that there are showers as well? I really enjoyed working with my team there and they helped me grow a lot professionally. Especially my manager, who I see not only as my boss but also my mentor. If you’re looking to enter the vibrant mobile gaming industry, then Hothead Games is a great place to start!
Cons
The projects may not always be the most exciting. There are some communication issues between the support teams and the game teams, but they’re getting worked on. The company direction isn’t currently clear but they should be able to figure it out soon.
