Pros
I worked in Hothead for about a year and overall, I really enjoyed my experience working there. I think it has a very interesting and fun culture and I'd say it's very easy to achieve a good work/life balance in this company. That being said, if you really want to push yourself, there are lots of opportunities to do so, and also add value to the company. I also think they responded very well to the pandemic and were among the first companies in Vancouver that fully shifted to work from home early on. Their benefits were also great. To top it all off, they also have a very caring and passionate HR director that will be with you every step of the way. If you love the mobile game industry and are looking for a place to grow and contribute, Hothead is worth considering.
Cons
Speaking of cons, I should say a competitive salary is not Hothead's biggest strength. But I think that’s understandable considering their recent hardships. But the company is bouncing back really well and I hope those issues will be addressed soon in the future.
