Good Experience, but not much reason to stick around - Audit Associate II KPMG Employee Review

The long term company strategy at the moment seems to be leaning towards scaling back American operations and automating and offshoring whatever they can. I worked there for one year and they had three rounds of layoffs and I thought how they carried out the layoffs was disrespectful and they wouldn't tell affected individuals why they were selected. This is more towards the overall company not the Virginia Beach branch - all the partners at the branch were incredibly friendly and respectful. You will also work long hours and the pay per hour is not very good.
