Pros

Some pros include the discount it was always great knowing you could buy a nice bag for cheap Really great co workers everyone was so nice, made so many friends from this job Made some customer relationships who would always come to you for help each time they come to the store Always get speciality transfers and because you get a discount you would get AMAZING deals

Cons

Management sucked, they were rude, picked favorites, didn’t approve time off regardless of how long you worked there (I worked there for 3 years and they wouldn’t give me a week off in the summer for a family vacation, made me quit), they talked down to you, did not help you if you needed it, talked behind everyone’s back, would be nice to your face and go to the next employee and bad mouth you (everyone is friends so they would tell you), upper management above the store management were so rude each time they came in, managers would promise and convince you that you would get promoted and it wouldn’t happen No full time associates anymore, there used to be when there was the old management but the company is too cheap to provide anyone with full time benefits The customers would treat you so poorly and the management would do nothing in your favour they would defend the customer regardless of the situation (I am a 21 year old girl and had a father scream at me and call me many different names including but not limited to: c word, b word and the management would do nothing but make the customer feel like it was okay and they would provide them with a further discount for their troubles) No sense of consistency, some managers would enforce one rule and the others would not care Dress code doesn’t matter with some managers but with others you would get written up If you’re not a favourite don’t expect any hours Seniority is not a thing, if they don’t like you, you will not be treated with any respect The list can go on forever, but I would NEVER recommend working at the TPO Kate spade strictly because of the awful management Kate spade does not schedule within availability Closing shifts take about 1-2 hours to close in the winter The store is such a mess and no one is on the same page The store doesn’t do quarterly meetings anymore to praise th associates for all their hard work Management is rude to customers and treats them with little respect Don’t follow dress code but expect the employees to follow it Honestly, when I first started working here the pros would have outweighed the cons but management has become so lazy and so sloppy that this store has no structure. The old management was amazing and after everyone left the store just went downhill. I would not recommend working here, you will be put down, stressed and feel like you are not important every time you come into work

Pros

I love that company offers wellness days and other benefits to focus on your mental health. I also like how there’s more training outlets for leadership and stylist.

Cons

The only con I would say is having an extra layer up for mental health insurance for stylist
