Pros
Comprehensive benefits package and employee discount program
Cons
Retail staff are trained on an in-depth, boutique sales experience, but stores are never staffed appropriately to uphold this standard. More often than not, the expectation is to host 3+ clients at a time, moving from one to the next yet still maintaining KPI's which were built upon the standard of 1 on 1 selling. The constant micro-management and check in's also pull focus from the in-store experience - upper management spends more time looking over you shoulder than actually leading by example and helping clients. Sales are often confusing and overlap, and directives from head office come last minute and from all departments - one hand doesn't speak to the other. There is a total disconnect to the brand ethos and how retail staff are actually treated.
