Pros
Whenever the company came out with new products you would get to try them for free (called a gratis). Also having the opportunity to connect with regular customers and customers who really appreciate your help because they find it very difficult to find something fitting for them.
Cons
if you're just a regular sales associate you do not make commission and often times your co-workers get very competitive over who gets the sale even if you're not making commission. It is a very competitive work places and people will steal your sale to make their target and you receive very little recognition for things you've accomplished or over achieved
