Pros

work from home is convenient for salaried workers but unless you have very good time management skills, you could end up doing overtime from late nights and early mornings to catch up with the ever-increasing work

Cons

Company's internal actions and external mission statement are in opposite directions. League does not walk the walk when it comes to promoting the culture it purports to be central to its identity. Scapegoating and gaslighting are modeled, promoted and rewarded in a rinse repeat cycle, with one unnamed member of the executive team serving as the poster child for toxic, retaliatory and discriminatory leadership (every current and former Leaguer needs only one guess to name them). For outsiders, all you have to do is look at the fact that almost all positive Glassdoor reviews (which coincidentally do not have any likes) are from brand new employees, all of whom have only a few days/weeks of tenure and have yet to experience the infighting, backstabbing, politicking, disorganization and blame games that permeate all levels of the organization. If HR were truly trying to improve things, they’d be less focused on getting positive feedback from people who are still in the honeymoon period of a new role and would be more interested in actioning upon the consistent, unbiased feedback that more tenured current and former employees have provided. If League doesn’t manage to get this review removed, HR will diabolically post a series of positive reviews (usually in similar writing style and with no likes) in quick succession to dilute its visibility and impact. Do your due diligence before wasting your time on an interview or even considering an offer. The grass is surely not green on this side.

Thanks for your feedback. Our values are central to our culture here at League. We work to ensure that our environment of transparency, fairness, and positivity is maintained every day. All Leaguers have the opportunity to voice concerns to our leadership in a number of ways, including our anonymous and public Slack channels. We’ve continuously received positive feedback from team members via our Leaguer Experience Survey, and take action to improve areas identified as needing attention. Nevertheless, we always strive to be better and do better. We would love to learn more and hear suggestions! If you’re open to sharing any other details about your experience, please reach out to us at people@league.com.
