We're glad to hear that you find working with the children fulfilling! Helping children build new skills and confidence is what inspires so many of our team members every day. We also appreciate your honest feedback. ABA can be a complex field, and there are times when treatment plans, procedures, or situations can feel confusing—especially when you're learning and growing in the role. We encourage our Behavior Technicians to ask questions, seek clarification, and partner closely with their BCBAs and Site Leadership teams whenever something isn't clear. Supporting our clinicians' growth and confidence is an important part of delivering great care to the children and families we serve. Thank you for being part of the MeBe team and for the meaningful work you do each day!

Pros

Paid training and will pay you to take the RBT exam, free supervised hours for people pursuing BCBA, my supervisor is awesome and understanding, yearly raises, yearly raises, understanding and communicative management and higher ups, and my clients and families are awesome. I got started with an easier client and worked my way up to ones that were more hands-on. Special shoutout to Ariel (my trainer) who was super kind!

Cons

Hours can be unpredictable. There was a period where I didn't work for 2 months because the client I was assigned to had switched insurances.

We’re really glad to hear that you felt supported by your supervisor, trainer, and leadership team—and we’ll absolutely pass along the shoutout to your trainer. Creating a kind, supportive learning environment is something we care deeply about, so it means a lot to hear that reflected back. We’re also happy to hear that your onboarding and client progression felt thoughtful and manageable. Supporting our team as they build confidence and skills—while doing meaningful work with great families—is a big priority for us. We appreciate your honest feedback around hours being unpredictable at times. Changes in client needs or insurance coverage can unfortunately impact scheduling, and we know how frustrating that can be. We’re continually working on improving communication, cross-training, and scheduling flexibility to help minimize gaps and provide more consistency whenever possible. Thank you again for being part of our team and for sharing your perspective. We truly appreciate the work you do and the care you bring to the families we serve.

Pros

Really great site directors and people. They genuinely care about their work, the kids, and the mission. Also some of the kindest and most passionate people I've worked with. There's also a lot of potential to grow the sites, referrals, and business.

Cons

Upper management is extremely disorganized and resistant to automation, change, and innovation. Feedback is seldom taken, and when it is, it's taken personally. Systems are outdated, and the expectation is that you simply do the work that is asked of you - without suggesting solutions to make it more efficient, effective, or collaborative. There is frequent gossip about other team members & employees amongst upper management, and HR does not seem to be helpful in resolution. Lots of micromanagement, as well. Upper management is extremely untrusting of (even new) team members, and speaks negatively about site directors and other staff. There is little to no room for collaboration or feedback, and upper management is not clear on direction or tasks. Frequently changing expectations, directions, and initiatives.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for recognizing the dedication of our Site Directors and teams. Supporting children, families, and one another is central to our mission. As MeBe continues to grow, we regularly review and refine our systems, expectations, and ways of working to better support our teams and the communities we serve. We value respectful communication, accountability, and thoughtful feedback as part of that process. We appreciate the perspective shared and remain focused on delivering high-quality, play-filled, research-based care.
