Great work/life balance, and great compensation is also possible if you're marketable and provide unique skills.
Cons
They're not hiring any new engineers in North America, but are outsourcing everything to India, and as engineers from North America leave, they aren't being replaced. In addition, they have a track record of acquiring companies and rather than incorporating the new product and team as part of their overall strategy, they place the product on auto-pilot and ultimately lay off the principals a few years later.
