      Pros

      I learn something new every day. I work with great people. My knowledge of the industry, business and technology continues to grow.

      Cons

      Continual restructuring, downsizing, unsustainable expense constraints and unachievable revenue targets. Poor performance management of under-achievers. Most employees are stretched too much to do really good work.

      Pros

      Being located in the North, Northwestel is a large employer by comparison to other local companies. At the same time, it is small enough where you can know most people in the company and it truly does feel like a family or small community.

      Cons

      Northwestel is a company in transition due to ongoing changes in the competitive landscape. This causes alot of shifts in strategy and focus, which can be frustrating.
