- Management will try to bring you in on your day off to cover someone and not pay you overtime but instead take hours off of your other days (they also will generally use guilt trips to try to get you to acquiesce)
- They are more likely to hire from outside than from within, and having to train your new manager on everything when they know you wanted the job is bad form.
- Upper management plays favorites, has a habit of dangling promotions they don’t intend on actually giving you to get more work out of you, and is out of touch with what is reasonable to expect from their busiest stores during closing shift
- They don’t actually reward you for getting good yelp reviews that mention you by name
