Pros

I can't think of anything that they do that is above average. - average benefit package - no equity - no retirement plan - few and far between social activities + Work/life balance is respected

Cons

disclaimer: the following points are about Procom Labs Their management style is top-down heavy, micromanagement is encouraged, and there's practically no people management. You won't get a career plan, nor will you have a follow through on things you'd want to explore. Culture overall is centered around "big tech wannabe", but without the good pay, and benefits. Also, don't expect talking about anything else other than business regardless of the setting you're in. Technology. Even though they've been modernizing their stack, if you are unlucky to be assigned to work on their main system, it won't be pleasant. It consists of a a mix of dated technologies stitched together with newer ones, but implemented in a questionable way. The learning curve is massive and comes with lots of unpleasant surprises. The business is complex, but there is zero documentation about processes, definitions, etc.. The knowledge is concentrated in a handful of people who have been with the company forever. The final point is layoffs. They run an yearly cleanup, and having good relationships, meeting expectations, and delivering does not guarantee that your name won't be in the dreaded list. As it has unfortunately become customary in most companies these days, you can't trust them at all.

Pros

Procom offers a lot of autonomy as long as you’re performing, which makes a big difference in day-to-day job satisfaction. There are also opportunities to get involved in projects outside your core role if you’re proactive. The company is clearly investing in the future—there’s a strong push toward AI adoption and a willingness to spend on technology to stay competitive. The people are genuinely great to work with, and the environment feels stable even while the company continues to grow. New leadership has brought a fresh, energetic perspective that’s exciting to see.

Cons

Growth opportunities can vary depending on the department. In some areas, there may be limited upward mobility unless roles open up.
