Pros

$15/hour is reasonable compensation compared to other Choice Hotels around Austin

Cons

Martin is a lazy stooge, and will gossip to employees about Ladonna. He wants to get her fired. Ladonna emotionally abused her husband in the lobby, in front of employees, giving him the silent treatment like she's a teenager. Both with abuse you with the schedule if you allow yourself to be cross trained across A, B, and C shifts. Tushar is violating Round Rock municipal building codes by allowing his father, Suren, to live in the apartment above the lobby. On one occasion, a leak from the toilet bidet came down into the breakfast area. Ashmi will complain about Tushar disrespecting her (spending money on things she thinks are stupid like 12 foot skeletons) to the managers where employees can hear, and make inappropriate jokes about staff needing to "make her money". They will all expect you to lie to EcoLab when asked if any employees live on the premises. Your direct deposit will frequently not be processed on time, which means you'll get a paper check. They won't pay the bonuses on time, and will write you up for made up reasons to deny you the revenue bonus.

Pros

Great environment and The management team takes employee issues seriously wether it’s pay or family they are willing to work with you

Cons

As long as you do your best the Team / family is very unique and work very hard but don’t like being let down.
