High caseloads with no support Director disconnected from learning support staff and their job requirements/support Long monthly meetings that focus more on what the director cares about (random books, mindful minutes, vague celebrations) than what frontline staff actually need to know to do their jobs well (new processes, case collaborations, supporting difficult schools, appropriate trainings) lack of procedure/policy - everyone just does what they've always done. Onboarding of new staff not adequate - make friends with coworkers to ask how to submit mileage, sick leave, find forms for referrals, etc.
