      Very top heavy at central office Teachers forced to clean their classrooms as custodians hours have been reduced to pay for central office jobs Young staff, no one to learn from Nepotism in hiring; impossible to get a continuing contract unless you are friends with a hiring principal or central office staff; people put friends in positions they are not competent or educated for Student grade scores are abysmal and nothing is being done Teachers widely ignored or criticized when issues are expressed Violence by students is gone unchecked Little value in EAs

      Good benefits PL budget Good frontline people and interdisciplinary support teams

      Cons

      High caseloads with no support Director disconnected from learning support staff and their job requirements/support Long monthly meetings that focus more on what the director cares about (random books, mindful minutes, vague celebrations) than what frontline staff actually need to know to do their jobs well (new processes, case collaborations, supporting difficult schools, appropriate trainings) lack of procedure/policy - everyone just does what they've always done. Onboarding of new staff not adequate - make friends with coworkers to ask how to submit mileage, sick leave, find forms for referrals, etc.
