Pros

The ground-level teams are generally positive, supportive people. Some remnants of a good working culture exist among colleagues.

Cons

The leadership has made a series of decisions that greatly affect the company at large that have alienated ground-level employees and their managers. Morale is very low, and the short-term future seems uncertain. Many people are leaving / going on leave. Communication on these decisions has become stagnant and it really seems like leadership is white-knuckling these changes, hoping the company can survive the turmoil without addressing it.

Pros

Good quality products. Dedicated individual contributors, intelligent colleagues.

Cons

Living in a bubble. They still think they are in the 90s. The thinking is painstakingly slow. Senior management including VPs and senior VPs are extremely inbred in their thinking. They are all perfectly aligned in completely wrong direction. They do the bare minimum and some cannot even hold a decent intellectual conversation. There is a ton of favoritism and only yes men get promoted so everyone is ‘aligned’. If you want to do mundane level thinking and kill your creativity and innovative spirit join this company. It has gotten worse in the last few years. Those currently there are dying to leave but just hanging by the last thread just because the current market is so tight that there is nowhere to go. The senior execs are there for 15-20 years no because they are loyal but because they know they cannot find any other employer who would tolerate their slow thinking.
