Pros
Schneider was always renowned for its people that’s what makes us special; however, in the Australian business, that has changed.
Cons
The company is more interested in AI adoption than the small things in people culture that build trust. The executive team don’t make eye contact, sometimes don’t say when in the office. You see favouritism is common within business unit silos, making leaders less approachable than before, which is disappointing and is visible to people, eroding trust. What’s more concerning is the acceptance that diversity only favours women. It was only recently that I heard HR/talent personnel talk openly with a recruiter that a role was only open to women. If it were the reverse, this would be an outrage or a legal battle, but it has become the norm. The best leaders seem to be leaving. Executive leadership is detached from the people and too much focus marketing workplace and how great it is, but at the core it’s fragmented and fake.
