Pros

- The team was amazing. Everyone was very supportive, talented, and fun to be around. This made the working environment much more pleasant. - The range of projects we worked on was incredible. You normally didn't get to choose and could get stuck with the same project for a while, but opportunities were there. - Great place for people trying to break into the industry and those who don't have tons of work experience in UX/UI. - No crunch policy.

Cons

Worth mentioning that, very typically, most cons were a result of unhealthy management practices. - The company was bent on growing at a ridiculous pace without a contingency plan or risk management considered. This led to people being overworked, underpaid, and constantly taken advantage of. Weirdly enough, the company never made enough to pay better benefits and raises, despite constantly growing responsibilities and workload. - There was so much favoritism going on. Promotions were offered based on the close relationship with the senior management, rather than merit only. Some employees got perks that others wouldn't even when they asked, like long unpaid breaks. Management would make themselves available for some people, and never for others. - Leads were often blocked from making decisions that could improve the working environment, and the team generally was discouraged from talking about any issues. High turnover was painted as a good thing, for example. People were asked to send emails directly to the management team, instead of publicly discussing things in Slack.

Pros

Sprung Studios has always prioritized its employees. Whether it's learning and development, inclusivity, support, or celebrating accomplishments, Sprung always prioritizes employee satisfaction, no matter the company's size. The company has grown drastically over the last five years, but despite this growth, the enjoyment and daily satisfaction of working here have not shifted. The work completed and the team you work alongside daily is always so refreshing and uplifting. It's a pleasure to work on what I must say are the top games in the world developed by a top UX/UI studio that I am proud to work for. The work expectations are clear, the salary is competitive, the benefits are excellent, and the support structure is phenomenal. This is truly a great place to work and I am forever grateful for the opportunities I have had here and the opportunities I look forward to.

Cons

I can't think of any.
