- Management was extremely strict with their expectations of employees and concerned about control, including only giving government mandated, legally required minimums. For example, half an hour of lunch is paid but the other half is not, even though we were encouraged to take it, making us work longer days. - A lot of sectioning between people who just joined and people already on the team. This manifested as team members talking down to us and not listening to our inputs for better work standards. not feeling integrated onto the team, and not feeling like our contributions mattered. They only cared about the quantity of output and not the quality. Team members used ammunition against each other in order to get other team members they did not like in trouble, which seemed to be the workplace standard. - Any issues I had that I brought up were used against me later on. Nothing was done to provide a better workplace environment for me even though I was struggling and discussed it. I was also never given feedback about my actual work performance. - Although they say they are diverse they are not welcoming to those with disabilities or other accommodations. I would not tell anyone at the company if you have a disability. Additionally, there are no tangible diversity, equity, and inclusion events, mandates, or initiatives. Seemed like employees are meant to do the emotional and tangible labor for DEI/disability accommodation. - No professional development opportunities. No budget for PD opportunities or for attending conferences. The 3 month onboarding we were promised was cut short by half because they needed more people to start working on projects. - Not much opportunity for upward movement in the company. Seems like it would be very difficult to find downtime for personal development because of the need to have so many client projects at once, and there were very few senior level roles. I was told I had to wait at least a year for a promotion and that I should not expect any sort of leeway when discussing salaries even when we were expected to take on a larger workload and were already being underpaid. - Special treatment for certain employees. We were all expected to follow the strict times and days we were expected to be in-office while other team members were allowed to work completely remotely because of the favoritism they had with upper management. Some team members received very light reprimanding for their inappropriate behavior while others were fired for less. - Overall a very toxic work environment that is very tense, only looks out for the company, and wants bootlickers or those in vulnerable situations so they can take advantage of them by underpaying them and treating them like they are replaceable.
