Pros
- Decent wages - Good benefits
Cons
- Morale at an all time low, small town beginnings turned low work satisfaction bred from the desire to make money over all else - Inferred belief that employees should overlook deficiencies because the wages are decent. - Accusatory management easily blames, degrades and sends clear messages that employees are expendable pawns with nothing to offer - Old buildings, broken equipment, archaic systems, infrastructure all indicative of neglect, poor management and the strong inference that Trail Operations and its people are only burdensome to the Company at large - Engineers are believed to be the only ones present to have good solutions - Automation replacing jobs - No promotion from within, ie apprenticeship programs have gone - Collective Agreement language needs a 21st Century overhaul in good faith
