Cons
For all the talk about their "values", they don't believe in or practice one bit of it. It exists solely to put up an all-natural, good-feeling face but, behind the scenes, they don't give a crap about the environment, marginalized or indigenous groups, human rights or any of it. They talk a big game of it but, here in Canada, it's just talk. Achieving your sales targets will not be met with congratulations but, rather, with accusations that you're lazy for not doing better. Upper management literally told us to view every customer that comes into the store as walking wallets to be squeezed for every last penny. They will demand that you fit two meters of stuff into a 30cm space and then threaten to fire you for not being able to magically bend space and time. Nothing you do will ever be good enough for them. Their employee review process is purposefully designed to DENY raises to employees; don't expect anything of the sort. They will dangle this illusion in front of you but have no intention to ever make it possible to achieve.
