Unfair working conditions (6 day weeks and 10 hour days are expected), extremely low salary with promise of high commissions with no overtime pay, unrealistic sales targets, the owners of most of the franchises flex nice cars and houses while staff struggle to make ends meet. We often had our lunch breaks in the office in case someone came in to join at that time. If it took up your lunch break, then that's on you and you'd not get another break.
