The people making decisions for the company don't understand what the job entails, so it's impossible for them to determine who is actually doing their job. Management can't tell the difference between a productive worker and someone who spends all day watching Internet videos. This is frustrating for anyone who takes pride in their work. Productivity and efficiency are not rewarded or even acknowledged, and there is no incentive to work hard. As long as you're filling a chair, nothing else matters.
The employees are awesome, but the management leaves a lot to be desired. The managers maliciously lied to me on a number of occasions. I was repeatedly lied to about my compensation. Worse yet, I was coerced into working hundreds of hours for free that they never intended to pay me for.
Yardi is the most unethical and morally bankrupt company I've ever worked for.
