Poor management driven by self-interest and preservation rather than by delivering high quality education and ancillary services. There are many incompetent middle managers who thrive because they do little and don't expose major dysfunction within the institutions. Students suffer with poor services and often, misinformation that directly impacts their lives. The budget situation is dire - they are facing insolvency in 2017 unless drastic changes are made at the institution.
