Good for a paycheck

Pros

If you need a place to get a paycheck, then this is the place. They have always paid on time. Only some tax issues that I've heard about.

Cons

-No work life balance and getting worse. -Systems break often, and there is poor training (and no time to train) -Variety of work is nil- expect to test ads, and test ads, and test some more ads. -Complaining to management will only get you patronizing lectures about why you are wrong.

Pros

- flexible hours - standard benefits

Cons

- 30%+ BELOW standard market salary - performance review is a joke, do not expect more than 2% annual adjustments (if you are lucky) and/or bonus - lost onshore staffs are not replaced, extra workload is distributed to those unfortunate existing staffs meanwhile without readjusting deadlines to more reasonable values - new core flagship products are mainly developed by incompetent outsource groups across the other side of the globe and without proper management and assessment - absolutely NO career advancement - there are more C/D levels combined than the actual product workers - unrealistic deadlines while the whole company is clearly understaffed, even with the outsource groups accounted for - HR is virtually nonexistent, company will do nothing to keep talents

Pros

Exposure to a lot of brands and work, may have opportunities to do things not appropriate for you level but great in terms of experience. People are relatively nice and easy to work with.

Cons

A lot of nepotism and senior management are only senior because they have been there longer. Most people with credible skills actually decide to move on leaving the workforce full of "comfortable" people who will do the minimum and shift work to others
