A company runs by a dictator

Pros

There is no pros in the company except if you feel providing a water cooler, coffee machine and a space to have your lunch are counted in pros so yeah that's are the pros

Cons

To start with, I would like to begin with that this review is being given by someone who was at a Senior Level and has worked with them for about three years and at a time when there were only a few people employed in the organization. First of all, those who consider it as a hardcore gaming company and think they would learn a lot of things here then they are highly mistaken. Don’t make the mistake which has been done by many employees there. They do not even have a standard of being a software company. Initial days Initial days were quite okay, employees were given somewhat freedom to work in an environment where there were no such strict rules and policies. No rules like not to have a long tea break and stuff like that. Later stages One part which I got enlightened with is why British ruled us for so long. This is a German based company and people from Germany do visit the Indian branch often at least once in a year. Irrespective of the fact what position is being hold by the German who has visited, every manager in the company treats him as his creator and keeps wagging his tail around him for whatever he needs. But that’s not just all they even hold you back to be seated if they are entering in your department. You are not allowed to go to pee as well (trust me). Well, it’s just a glimpse of what happens inside the organization. Now covering up different points: 1. Work: The work is lame, repetitive and monotonous. That’s not it even, you would get a lot of unnecessary pressure to complete it before your stipulated deadline. 2. Environment: If you believe that having a cafeteria and putting up a messed up coffee machine along with one water cooler will solve your purpose then you may apply. The office is full of CCTVs and biometrics. You would need biometric access to enter to any department there. 3. Culture: Don’t think that with your hard work is going to pay you off. Nobody is having any power except the almighty dictator. Don’t expect to impress your manager or lead, they even can’t help themselves with their appraisals. 4. Pay: They would send you a JD to design a rocket and would want you to pay equal to a regular office boy. 5. Policies: I could have covered this point in culture but that won’t give you an idea how badly they are framed and deep rooted. You are not allowed to take your bag in the premises without going through the security check at the entrance. There are no lockers provided and guard is going to peep in your bag both when you are coming to the office and when you are leaving to make sure you are neither bringing something nor taking something with you. The leave policies suck too, earlier there was provision of having short leaves but they are planning to suspend them completely. Moreover, you can’t access GMail, Facebook or any other website. Not even YouTube as well. Furthermore, you need to fill up a leave application form and get it approved from two departments in order to avail any leave. All these policies are deployed when there is no breakfast, lunch, cab, health insurance, work from home or any other facility being provided by the company. My purpose of writing this review was not to put my rant here but to make people aware of that if they can treat their those employees who were with them for such a long period of time and from a starting phase you can’t even imagine your place there. The almighty dictator doesn’t respect anybody and I mean anybody. He thinks as Xerxes who is feeding you and your family so he owns you. Think more than 100 times before you join this organization. I guess those who haven’t gone through this review or they are in really bad financial situation can join them. All the best for your career!

Dear Ex-Employee, We always welcome feedback and inputs from our employees and are happy to incorporate them. However, after reading your review, we are unclear with respect to the improvements that you would like the company to make. This doesn’t come across as a constructive criticism. We would have love to offer help or assistance if that would have been the ask. In this situation, we can do little to help ease your issues.

Pros

Day by day MerKur Gaming/ Lucky Nugget become worst and find a new way to harassment employee everyday. You will get nightmare once you join this company and You face many mental issue here.

Cons

List of cons, which can not be explain. Think 1000000 times before joining this company. Not able to give 0 star. 1 Star is too much for them They could fire you at anytime without any prior notice for any stupid reason. They can fire anyone anytime without any reason and no two months basic salary in advance after firing. You will be hired for some other work, and you need to work which is something not related to your work. They can even put you in Data Entry Job.

Dear Ex-Employee, This feedback is most unacceptable and intended to cause willful disrepute to the organization. Sweeping remarks and casting aspersions against our trusted and valued employees is not acceptable to us. You have gone to the extent of making false and disparaging remarks at people who you have worked with. It is also imperative to state that these statement are unsubstantiated. We urge you to write to us and voice your concerns rather than venting your misguided grudges on a public platform. This certainly does not appear to be in a good and positive spirit. Rather, such a feedback is unwarranted, unreasonable and is in the nature of a libelous statement and may attract legal consequences. Our organization is predicated on a strong value system. We are a diverse and inclusive workplace and believe in equality and equity. As a technology company, we are progressive in our policies and believe in cultivating diverse talent, developing an engaged workforce, leveraging unique experiences and perspectives, and sparking innovation through collaboration. We endeavor to make our employees feel valued members of the team. At Merkur Gaming India, we have a well-structured and streamlined performance review mechanism, a periodic process that assesses an individual employee’s job performance and productivity in relation to certain pre-established criteria and organizational objectives. Other aspects of individual employees are considered as well, such as organizational citizenship behavior, accomplishments, potential for future improvement, strengths and weaknesses. In case of under performers a detailed improvement program is discussed and agreed to help them improve and perform. Despite all efforts, employees may not perform at the expected level and in such situations appropriate actions are undertaken. Of course legal or disciplinary violations demand instant and critical actions and such cases are treated differently. So, in case you have something worthwhile to share, please feel free to contact our HR team and we will certainly consider the same if it works in the best interest of the Merkur Gaming India team. Meanwhile, we suggest you to remove this false and disparaging feedback. We hope you understand and will cooperate with us. Thank you once again for your feedback. We wish you success in your future endeavors. Team HR – Merkur Gaming India
