Pros

The only good thing about working there is the pay was decent for the area and the benefits are good. Quarterly yard sales where everything is a dollar or less. I have thousands of dollars in product for practically nothing.

Cons

Absolutely terrible management from the team leads right up to HR/DCM. Team leads think they have power, supervisors let them get away with doing nothing. Supervisors rarely ever around. Promise one thing and do the other. Turn over rate is unreal. Supervisors being fired left and right only to hire more incompetent and inexperienced people. Very negative atmosphere. Mostly young kids and early 20 year old high school drop outs. Drama everywhere. People climbing over top of other people in hopes of advancement. Girls sleeping around with everyone and claiming sexual harassment. Very sexist environment, the place is practically run by females. Absolutely no job security. Temp agency employees fired left and right. Corporate secretly let go of the old DCM and fed a lie to the employees of how he was moving on to other DC's to do what he did here. One day he was gone and nobody knew why. A whole new upper management team was brought in who do not give a crap about the employees and only the company. Favoritism all over the place. It was a good place to work before the new management came in and ruined everything. Don't expect to be employed here very long.

Pros

- Competitive salary, although it could be higher - Strict 9 to 5, type of deal, rarely overtime. Some work, life balance

Cons

- Sales department, one of the most depressing departments to work in. If Customer Service decide they do not want to handle a responsibility, guess what it's Sales who has to!! Hundreds of calls to be made to clients or hundreds of faxes to be sent - Few hard working sales analysts, but most are very lazy, when they have tasks that are tedious/ time consuming or repetitive and manual, they give these tasks to the support. They also take a lot of vacations, I never knew a company gave that many to people who don't do work. - The support is constantly overworked and sales analysts tasks were handed over frequently. It did not matter if you did not have the background i.e, customer service or long time use of their system. Poor training in quality and time. - Out of date computer system that made everything that much more difficult and monotonous - I've literally witnessed at least 2 employees crying due to poor treatment i.e. being overworked by management or verbally abused by the warehouse manager. - Management laid off all the good sales directors and senior/ long time sales manager, anyone that treated their employees well, were cheerful / empathetic, fun-loving and sweet were gone in a blink of an eye. No farewell gatherings or no tokens of appreciation. Also witnessed callous firing/ laid off of a veteran who was having a tough year. All cons are directed toward Mississauga branch - Management that is left -- incompetent, heartless, and self-serving - Funds constantly transferred to head company in US, so there were some cash flow problems, maybe that is why they laid off employees - No room for advancement - Very old building that was hardly cleaned properly, lots of dust bunnies rolling around. Microwaves were disgusting. They moved, hopefully, the cleaning habits changed.
