Pros
- there are some cool people working there - opportunity to travel
Cons
- teams get siloed especially the remote offices - if you're not in the Bay area, don't expect any perks - they speak to career advancement potentials but there is limited follow through on promoting within - poor communication across Rakuten companies - They use bullying tactics and favoritism that stems from upper management/exec team - too many meetings and poor work life balance especially in Q4 - no bonuses after the company continues to exceed YoY goals
