Had the benefit of working with some lovely people. Really can't think of anything else to be honest.

Cons

Have to constantly buy overpriced clothes that fall apart. Terrible dms. Pushed to make everyone join the online shopping store and then lost customers. Take huge returns from online store that puts your store in the negative. Had to work on my own time to complete weekly store flips without being given hours for my staff. Ridiculous buisness plans that dont contribute to advancing your stores productivity. Was pushed to scare my staff about being fired when sales where down on slow times. Was pushed to write employees up if not spending enough on new clothes weekly. Overall the most depressing company I've ever worked for.

Great people to work with (not for), good clothing discounts on clothing in all banners

Cons

Company values are a joke, they do not practice what they preach..."work/life balance" is a joke. Promotions and visual changes are happening entireley too frequently...complaints from customers about how often things are changing/products moving are not being taken seriously. Compensation isn't even remotely competitive...upon research Reitmans pays aproximately 17% less than most retailers. The amount of work, lack of respect and overall poor treatment of their greatest asset (which should be the employees) shows how horribly this company is run, from all aspects.

Cons

Nobody will ever thank you for a job well done. Managers always focusing on your flaws. It is worse when they are feeling you vulnerability, they will use it to put you down even more. People in IT are generally incompetent, and they will never accept someone having better knowledge and education then them.
