Pros

good first job experience in a fast paced, team environment. The longer you worked there the more you would get paid, my pay increased by about $1.00/hour after the first year.

Cons

can get very busy during rush hours, and during sports tournaments. sometimes understaffed. there is always something that you have to be doing so there is not much downtime

Pros

The job offered free food, and lack of supervision meant that the "on paper" limit of 1 sandwich per shift was not enforced.

Cons

The restaurant had two staff working at most given times. The staff were racist and homophobic, and the owner was totally apathetic and largely absent. Further, we were required to be available to work if someone came in wanting a sandwich during our breaks (meaning essentially that we did not get breaks), and yet we were unpaid for 30 minutes every day. This is illigal in BC.
