Pros

I love working at Walmart Canada (Deer Foot City). I have early morning hours where I pick orders on an RF scanner and stock merchandise on the sales floor. My duties also include price changes, scanning outs and order merchandise, completing back room bin audits, finalizing counts on merchandise on hand and correcting shelf cap errors.

Cons

Customer Value Associate is a large area to cover and there is never enough staff in our area. Most of us are part time and there is no room for growth and advancement. I have been there for 9 months and sometime have no hours for a week, very lame. We are told not to complain about our hours. This is very unfair as the merchandising part time people seem to get reasonable hours and way more that customer value associates. There is also a lot of favortism coming from department managers and merchandising manager, which is very hurtful. People can not survive on 12 hours a week.
