Pros

Commission structure, as noted many times. If you are a seasoned IT recruiter, you may be able to make a lot of money here. However, the environment is cut throat and others will sabotage your placements to get ahead.

Cons

Highly competitive, cut throat environment. Taki isn't a good boss by any means, he's someone that you have to tread lightly around at all times. Definitely not a comfortable environment to work in, but I believe it's tolerated by the regulars due to the pay. A lot of people don't succeed here and turnover is quite high. They WILL fire you if you aren't able to make placements and they won't help you if you are struggling. I would only recommend this company if you are an exceptional recruiter that doesn't care about the work environment. Many of the reviews that were left on here were done by interns that don't truly get to experience what it's like as an actual recruiter with isgSearch.

Pros

The one and only pro is that they have the strongest commission structure in the staffing industry. They pay you out up to 50% of a perm deal ($5K of a $10K invoice) if you recruit and account manage that deal. otherwise you'll make 25% of it if you do one of the two.

Cons

The environment here is incredibly misleading. Throughout your interview process you're drawn in from the charm of Taki, the managing partner. Within your first month of joining the organization you'll quickly realize that no one here operates with transparency, dignity or respect. They will flat out curse you on the floor for speaking against them trying to steal your candidate, they will spitefully block your candidates from being pushed forward for their roles bc the account managers just want to double end the deal by making money pushing their own candidates ahead instead of putting the true best candidate forward. They are corrupt, fraudulent, shady, abusive. You will lose your peace of mind being in this environment no matter how strong or positive you think you are starting off.

Pros

I have nothing good to say about this company accept they have a high commission structure, but it's almost impossible for 90percent of employees to make any money given the toxic working environment

Cons

The owner/ manager will lie / say anything to you during the interview process to convince you to take the job. Once you start working at isg search you will quickly realize that it extremely toxic working environment with a horrible company culture. The company has no core values. 95percent of people who gets hired gets fired or quits within their first year. ( Just look for yourself how many people have left on LinkedIn) They have the highest turnover over rate for any agency in Toronto. The place is full of bullies that undermine you. The working environment is extremely messed up and unprofessional. Do not take a job at Isg. Do not buy into managers lies in the interview and false promises of making a lot of money. Run away. There is nothing enjoyable about working here.
