We’ll be undertaking design and engineering services work as part of the construction of the new Futur hôpital de Vaudreuil-Soulanges Hospital, adding measurable capacity to Quebec’s public healthcare system. Located in Vaudreuil-Dorion outside of Ville de Montréal, the project is scheduled to open in 2026, providing the area with 404 beds, 11 operating rooms, and an emergency room with a capacity for 41 patients. It is currently the largest new hospital project being designed in Quebec.
We’ve been awarded a mandate to complete multiple components of the Sayona Moblan Lithium Project in Quebec. SNC-Lavalin’s industry-leading mining & metallurgy group will provide design and engineering services to complete the site’s tailings storage facility, water management and site infrastructure, plus the environmental and social impact assessment. Once in production, the mine will produce high-quality, supply-chain secure Canadian lithium, essential for the development of the energy storage technologies (including electric vehicle batteries) needed to reach Net Zero. Sustainable mining solutions will be incorporated throughout the work, including decarbonization-focused designs, and building in climate resiliency to the mine.
