Maritimes, we’re coming your way! 🎉 We’re thrilled to bring Purdys Chocolatier to the Maritimes, expanding our footprint from the West Coast to the East Coast. It’s an exciting new chapter—one rooted in a shared love of quality, local pride, and Canadian craftsmanship ✨ This September, we’ll open four new locations across the region: 📍 Regent Mall (Fredericton, NB) 📍 Champlain Place (Moncton/Dieppe, NB) 📍 Mic Mac Mall (Dartmouth, NS) – Pop-up 📍 Halifax Shopping Centre (Halifax, NS) – Pop-up, with a permanent storefront opening in early 2027 For years, customers in the region have supported us from afar, and we’ve been listening. Your messages, requests, and continued enthusiasm are what truly inspired this next step. From fundraising programs to online orders—and even enthusiastically bringing Purdys chocolates home from your travels across Canada—you’ve already been part of the Purdys Chocolatier story. We’re so grateful for the incredible loyalty you’ve shown us, and honoured to bring Purdys Chocolatier closer to the communities that have welcomed us so warmly. We look forward to opening our doors this September and sharing 119 years of Canadian craftsmanship, connection, and chocolate joy with you. We can’t wait to become part of your celebrations with loved ones, and everyday moments. 💜
Our team was honoured to visit BC Children’s Hospital to celebrate our partnership built on purpose, care, and community, including support through the Dear Santa campaign. It was especially meaningful to see the impact on children and families and spend time with Navy, our Dear Santa child ambassador, and her family, as she shared her inspiring story. Sharing small chocolate treats with such brave young patients made the day memorable. The visit was a powerful reminder of the impact we can create together. Thank you to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation team for your warm welcome and the meaningful work you do every day. 💜 #PurdysChocolatier #PurplePartnerships #CommunityImpact #StrongerTogether
Happy Earth Day!🌎 We're proud to share that your love for chocolate helped us contribute over $143K to @Cocoa Horizons. With your help, the contribution was directed toward: 🌳 67 additional hectares of Agroforestry Boosting biodiversity, soil health, and reducing deforestation. 🌍587 tons of carbon removed These systems actively capture carbon, restore soil health, and generate natural biomass — a proven climate solution. 🌱 8,894 seedlings distributed Cocoa farmers received over 8,000 cocoa and shade tree seedlings, along with hands-on expert support— building stronger, more productive farms for the long term. 🤝 3 new Village Savings and Loan Associations opened These community-led savings groups give farming families access to capital, helping them invest in their farms, education, and financial stability. Through our ongoing partnership with Cocoa Horizons, we're not just supporting the environment — we're helping cocoa the farmers and their communities thrive for generations to come. Together, we’ve created something truly meaningful. Thank you for choosing Purdys Chocolatier and for helping make this impact possible.
