“This year marked my sixth anniversary working as an Internal Auditor at Thomson Reuters. Reflecting on my journey, I promised myself to spend a year being intentional with where I wanted to take my career. I felt my personality would thrive in a Human Resources (HR) position and knew I would regret it if I never took a leap of faith and explored a new career path.” Meet Rebecca, Human Resource Manager, Texas
“How do I balance building my career while starting a family? A big part of the answer to this question is finding a company that supports work-life balance and flexibility, which I am fortunate to have found at Thomson Reuters. My colleagues and leaders have been supportive and accommodating, making my maternity leave experience smooth and stress-free. The Thomson Reuters maternity leave policy in India has been a great help to me in this new journey, as I was able to spend six months with my baby. I am glad to be part of Thomson Reuters and have the continued support of the organization as my baby grows.” #WorkingAtTR Meet Neha, Assistant Company Secretary Asia Pacific, Mumbai

“My favorite part of being a Thomson Reuters intern is the opportunity to engage with esteemed and highly talented individuals across several business units. It's incredible to be surrounded by genuinely passionate people energized by their work. During the time I spent in the office, I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with other employees. Everyone at the office is welcoming, and they all exhibit a warm vibe, regardless of their background or position." Meet Frankie, recently promoted from an HR Services/Talent Acquisition Intern to Talent Acquisition Associate in our Manila office. Learn more about Frankie's story here.
Across a variety of business units, 15 interns joined our Thomson Reuters team in Manila as part of our diversity and inclusion internship program. We’re proud to say that in July, we had our first cohort of interns graduate from the Thomson Reuters Manila Internship Program! We created this program with the goal of creating a safe space for students coming from underrepresented groups. It allowed us to celebrate them for who they are and who they want to be. It started them on a path to becoming tomorrow’s leaders. We are looking forward to expanding on this success with future cohorts. Check out a few photos from the interns' experience below.
It’s a busy week for awards at Thomson Reuters! We are proud to be recognized as a “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion” by earning a top score of 100% on the Disability Equality Index. To cap it off, Thomson Reuters has been named as one of Canada's Best Employers for Diversity 2022. These awards strengthen our resolve to foster a diverse and inclusive environment for all of our global employees.

Thomson Reuters offices across the United States are closed today as we observe Juneteenth, a federal holiday in the U.S. commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Read how companies in the DFW area, including Thomson Reuters, are honoring Juneteenth:
"Until I started #WorkingAtTR I didn’t feel confident freely expressing who I am at work. In the past, I always played with words to hide my boyfriend's gender. I felt as though I couldn't wear a pink t-shirt without people then knowing I was gay or feeling judged. When I joined Thomson Reuters and learned the values of the company, I felt an automatic sense of relief. And through the Pride at Work network, I was able to connect with an amazing community of people willing to learn, support and contribute with small or big actions to ensure Thomson Reuters is a safe, diverse and inclusive space for all, including our LGBTQIA+ colleagues. It's terrible that we are judged in the streets and in our own family or our circle of "friends" - and it would be fatal if we were also judged at work where we spend most of our time. When you have the opportunity to express yourself freely and have everyone accept you as you, you feel motivated and happy to do great work in your job. I thank Thomson Reuters and our Pride at Work community for that." Meet Julio (He / Him), Sr. Business Analyst
