Westland is thrilled to share that Cassie Friends received $8,500 in prize money for their team’s outstanding participation in the Vancouver and Calgary Scotiabank Charity Challenge virtual run/walk this year! With Westland’s support, Team Cassie Friends was awarded 1st Place for the Highest Total Amount raised in the Calgary Marathon and 1st Place for the Highest Total Amount Raised per Fundraiser in the Vancouver Half Marathon. We are proud to be involved with this great charity in Calgary and Vancouver. Cassie Friends’ mission is to take action towards providing a pain-free future for kids and families affected by juvenile arthritis and other rheumatic diseases. We continue our 40 Weeks of Giving campaign, in celebration of our 40th anniversary, and this week we want to share that our Kelowna locations took part in a food drive for the Central Okanagan Food Bank. The Central Okanagan Food Bank is a caring, compassionate group of people who help those in need, without consideration of race, religion or creed, through providing healthy and nutritious food items.
