Toxic Company

Pros

Nothing that I could find

Cons

This company takes micro management to the next level.I have worked in this company from Nov 2021 to April 2022.They make you sign on a 1 year bond even for experiences folks, breaking which will cost you 2.5 lakhs and they say this amount is for training you.All the tools used are internal tools and there is no documentation. So,you are at the mercy of manager, team lead and co workers.Co workers are okay but management is the worst. They won't give WFH even if the hell breaks loose. To conclude,I have paid 2.5 lakhs(whatever I have earned till then) and came out of the company.I shouldn't have paid that becuse bonds are illegal in India but afraid because I don't want to waste my energy and resources fighting them and taking them to court and I really need the exit date in PF portal and service letter from them.In the offer letter they will tell you 2 months notice period but the devil is in the details, they are not calender days but working days which amounts to 3 months

Pros

Some of the people are cool

Cons

Management is terrible pay is terrible They ask you to go above and beyond for pennies No ability to terminate or suspend people Half the machines are missing task bars Biggest client pays out 3 times the salary of what the company offers for the roles Management leads from behind glass doors and walls Attrition rates for employees is terrible. out of 10 people in the last training class 2 are left. The one prior was 18 and down to 1. Even though MGMT approved OT for you they will say when it comes time to pay that you make too much to qualify for it. Dont offer people a pay for performance and then make them responsible for creating it. Companies that offer pizza parties to build positive culture and or work environments RUN!!!!

Pros

Employees have the opportunity to enhance their communication and technical skills through interactions with international clients. The company offers training sessions to help employees improve their knowledge and perform their duties effectively

Cons

The nature of the work can be stressful, with employees often handling challenging customer interactions and facing pressure to meet performance metrics. Some employees have reported concerns regarding management practices, including a lack of support and transparency. The demanding work schedule can impact personal life, leading to challenges in maintaining a healthy work-life balance

Pros

No pros working for this company

Cons

- Mandatory unpaid holidays (unless you have PTO available to cover them). - Pay is $16/hr, and increases only seem to happen when the state raises minimum wage. - Internal IT couldn’t fix broken taskbars for 8 months. - They reward employees with occasional pizza days and “National Apple Day” events instead of actual raises. - You have to wait for approval to take breaks/lunch, and there are days when you end up skipping breaks because of call volume. - No real growth opportunities: you’re basically stuck in an L1 role unless you leave the company. - Training lasts 5 weeks where you go through Dell powerpoints for about 2 weeks before “real training”. When we started taking calls, we didn’t know how to do about 80% of the work. - Health benefits only kick in after 90 days. - High turnover rate: my training wave started with 15 people, and we were down to 3 before I left. The same thing happened in other training waves as well. They seem willing to lose money hiring and retraining people instead of giving raises or investing in employee retention. - Some L2s are unprofessional, aggressive, and defensive. Conclusion: Please avoid this company at all costs.

Pros

While the work can be fast-paced, CGS fosters an environment where employees can improve their problem-solving skills and gain valuable experience in technical support and customer service. Overall, I would recommend CGS to anyone looking for a stable and rewarding job in the tech support industry.

Cons

NoneCons: The training program could be more comprehensive and extended for better preparation.

Pros

Adequate Training. Dynamic teams. It's a perfect 6 month entry level type job.

Cons

Low Pay. No Benefits. Overwork. Burnout. If you are a woman, Management will, with a probability of 75-80%, hit on you.
