Pros
Discount on the food which is expensive without the discount.
Cons
I had to wear heels. I felt like I was a human robot. None of the staff wanted to get to know me and I fell very unappreciated. Management would only point out negative things that I did, never noticing the good things I did like managing tidiness of tables for servers and doing extra help in expo when not asked. I was told to 'smile more' constantly and when I asked to take my heels off because my feet were hurting the manager told me "Okay but if you don't put a smile on your face then you will have to put the heels back on" ... like that would make me want to smile more? I would always smile when I talked to customers but I wouldn't smile when I was being told to 'buss tables' or do washroom checks from a demeaning manager that didn't like me. I was talking to a hostess at the front and the night manager told me "This isn't helping my labor with you guys talking so you'll have to go home." And then he cut me. I was told I would become a server eventually after hostessing at my interview, which is what I initially applied for, but after hostessing for 8 months they wanted me to expo and couldn't give me a time frame of when I would actually be serving, even though I had 2 year of serving experience.
