      Pros

      Flexibility for on-call staff. Good place for recent grads to gain field experience.

      Cons

      It appears their business structure on the bio side of things is to hire as many on-call bios for as little as possible to keep high profit margins. If hired in an on-call roll do not expect career advancement or respect. I would go as far as to say I felt bullied by HR and accounting at times and even had a full time staffer pressure me to work for free so they could stay within their billable limit. Hierarchal structure with no thought to experience, knowledge, or efforts of their hourly staff. Low pay in comparison to other local firms.

      Great team of qualified experts in archaeology, biology, and environmental planning. Interesting projects, fun people, and room to grow.

      Cons

      Benefits could be better - such as adding a 401k match and bonus program.

      Pros

      Chambers Group, Inc is a small biological, cultural resources, and environmental planning firm based in Santa Ana, CA. The culture at Chambers Group is great. It is a fun place to work and is filled with great people. Chambers Group has a mentor program and provides leadership and project management training. There are so many positives to list.

      Cons

      I got the impression that some employees in the regional offices did not feel connected to the rest of the company. Other than that, I do not have anything negative to say about the company. They are supportive and keep the atmosphere positive.
