Pros

- Good pay for first 2 years - Good place to learn foundational business skills - Good place to start your career, but beyond 2 years is not worth it - the people (not management) are usually kind and helpful - flexible work arrangements like work from home

Cons

- I think management is self-absorbed, more worried about making themself look good and message tracking rather than growing the business - from what I've seen, it looks like people are leaving the company at high rates, losing good people in finance, brand and sales - I think PG has lost it's prestige and can no longer attract top talent - finance promotion timing and pay seems to lag peers in brand and sales - in my opinion, finance and some brand management have no clue what they are doing - opportunities in Canada are limited, typically have to go to the US to move up - stock is flat over 5 years, nearly no organic growth and in my opinion no signs of a turnaround - morale is what I think at an all-time low, it is not a fun and rewarding place to work anymore - bureaucracy overload. Very internally focused, little external considerations

Pros

Many intelligent people who are experts in their fields who are willing to help and provide advice (if they have time). Decent benefits and pay.

Cons

I mentioned time because many people are stretched and overworked. Work life balance is pretty bad and shows no signs of improvement. A lot of this can be attributed to near useless management. Every project is treated as absolute maximum priority but can still be dropped at a moment's notice. Work processes are horribly cumbersome and slow. Even small changes require many approvals but there are endless demands to "move faster".
