Therapists are held accountable for deadlines related to case notes and reports
I have not been able to locate in policies and procedures how supervisors and managers are held accountable for deadlines or turn around times related to editing reports
It is a "for profit" organization so although you have autonomy over caseload please ensure you "bring home the money"
You receive a 1/3 or less per hour in pay than what the organization receives per hour
When you first start there is training, it is intense but you do not have enough time to process all of it - important information gets lost
There is no consistency when supervisors edit reports; sometimes the way you write is good and then in another report it's not good enough and you are left not knowing what to do
Case Reviews - interesting to say the least! They say come prepared, umm supervisor should come prepared because stuff you are talking to me about has already been resolved; did you not read the emails?
They claim work/life balance but only when you have billed sufficiently
