Pros

- If this is your first job in the eComm retail industry, you will be given many responsibilities. This will help hone in on what you want to focus on in the future when looking for another job

Cons

- Significantly underpaid for the amount of work required. HR department is seemingly unaware of the salary rates in the current market and will most likely offer you $35,000-$45,000. You can find similar positions elsewhere at a $65,000-$90,000 range. Management will often refute these claims; Source: June 2022, applied and offered jobs - Absolutely no synergy within the Marketing Department. Would frequently receive late campaign components just before EOD when needed that same day for launch - Working overtime is a frequent occurrence - No work-life balance, messages on weekends evenings, and frequent campaign launches that requires work past midnight - Certain managers have said they don’t want to hire someone “too ambitious” to keep them at their position and avoid salary increases - Some managers are incredibly unorganized with poor communication which will directly affect your ability to complete your tasks - Piling on more work without additional compensation - Profit chasing. They’re laser focused on high revenue & clicks, with no care for your well-being on how it’s accomplished - The backend development is dated and they outsource work which makes big-fixes and system upgrades incredibly slow

Pros

None that I can think of. Maybe the discount on clothing but I'm female so this was not a benefit for me.

Cons

Where to start...being not allowed to leave at the end of your shift until the last customer has finished looking around the store sometimes even an hour past closing yet only getting paid till closing time. Being forced to sit through a 2 hour and 45 minute "review" with your manager being grilled on how you plan to sell more the next year. Having Co workers lie to your face and cheat you out of sales. Moron customers that spend an hour with you then buy nothing = no commission and then having your manager grill you as to why they didn't buy anything. I literally would cry on the way home from work some days. Run far from this company and and other high pressure commissioned sales jobs!

Pros

- Pretty decent people to work with - 50% discount off merchandise

Cons

- Growth? Yeah right...a lot of inequality in my eyes. One group isn't allowed to have email addresses yet other store are. - Management can be stupid. And there's just too many of them. - Females literally have no benefits working here...when the women discount packages come they suck and they don't pay us enough anyway to afford them. And when you can they cancel on you so you don't get what you wanted. - Can't even be transparent about issues. They hide behind a wall.
