This award is all about spotlighting an up-and-coming female designer who is making an impact in the world of fashion. After graduating from Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London, award recipient FEBEN launched a brand with sustainability at its core. She is a designer who is shaking up the fashion industry with the use of handcrafted and recycled fabrics while being inspired by her unique experience of life and the world around her. We are passionate about supporting upcoming talent, giving them a platform to innovate and continue pushing the boundaries of function and fashion. It’s a move that’s been years in the making and our new office truly represents who we are today: a global performance luxury brand with sustainability driving all that we do. Located in the heart of downtown, we partnered with Toronto-based architecture and interiors firm M Moser Associates to create a modern space across four floors of a platinum LEED-certified building. Our new HQ is an immersive workspace that caters to the unique needs of each department, promoting adaptability and flexible ways of working while fostering collaboration. Our favourite part? It’s hard to choose between the stunning showroom with expansive views of Lake Ontario and the gallery of Inuit, Indigenous and Canadian art curated from our renowned art collection. A note from our CEO, Dani Reiss: I am writing with the sad news, that my father, David Reiss, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2023. He was a visionary for his time; it’s because of him that Canada Goose got into the down business. He believed in the importance of making quality products, investing in pieces that would stand the test of time, and he instilled that same belief in me and in our business. What my father built, what he believed in, and what he valued are the bedrock of this company. I am grateful for all that he taught me. Grateful that he believed in me. And grateful that he encouraged me to pursue my dreams.
