- no growth opportunities at all and no pathways to even grow laterally - product team isn’t aligned with customer needs - a lot of female senior leaders have been burnt out and left or fired - not a good place if you’re a female wanting to go up in the corporate ladder - haven’t figured out how to scale without pouring so much money into in person events and conferences - no RRSP matching - limited coverage for counselling - no eye care

ThoughtExchange gives people a lot of trust and autonomy, empowering employees to make decisions that impact others and the company, to be proactive about career growth, and do things like set own schedules and take holiday time (something they give more of than any place I have ever worked). All of these are pros, not cons, but employees need to be able to manage the stress that comes with this level of trust.
