Infrastructure Ontario has selected a project team including AtkinsRéalis to conduct a feasibility study for a proposed East‑West Pipeline and Energy Corridor linking Alberta and Ontario. The study will assess corridor routes, refinery and port siting, costs, and permitting, while also examining complementary development opportunities—including all‑season Ring of Fire access, mineral export pathways, grid upgrades, and a strategic petroleum reserve. Findings will help inform decisions that bolster energy security and affordability, Canadian jobs, and responsibly produced exports. Drawing on more than a century shaping Canada’s energy systems, our teams across consulting, advisory, environmental, and engineering & design will bring end‑to‑end expertise in land‑use planning, permitting, and marine and port engineering—collaborating with Indigenous partners and building on experience with Webequie First Nation on the Northern Link Road.
